Alexander Gilmanov, Ph.D.'s audit covers 8 public posts, including 8 with both reaction and comment counts. The measured median is 34.5 interactions. AI & building products is the most represented detected theme (4/8; themes can overlap). Start with a concrete follow-up to an existing subject, then test the opening and reply invitation across a consistent four-week sample.
8 of 8 posts have both public counts. Their median is 34.5 interactions. Compare future experiments with your own sample rather than an unrelated peer score.
“If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your brand, URL, design and” has 78 visible interactions. That is 2.3× the sample median. Its topic and opening are candidates for a follow-up experiment; this does not identify why it performed.
1 of 8 posts contain a question. Measured posts generated 8.7 comments per 100 reactions. Counts can include the author's replies and do not measure lead quality or sentiment.
The median gap between sampled dates is 1 days; the longest is 3 days (7 intervals). Missing posts can exaggerate gaps, so this is not a complete publishing calendar.

VISUAL REVIEW
Check how your profile looks.
The automatic image grade checks file readability and shape. Use this checklist to review the visual choices it cannot judge.
Is your face recognizable in the small circular crop?
Is the image sharp, evenly lit, and free of distracting clutter?
Does the banner communicate your work without overlapping your photo?
Are colors and typography consistent with your professional identity?
A transparent presentation checklist, not a LinkedIn ranking, talent assessment or prediction of reach. Grade thresholds: A+ 90, A 80, B 65, C 50, D 35, F below 35.
Score = earned points ÷ assessed points × 100. Coverage is assessed weight out of 100. Unavailable and masked data are excluded. Scores with different coverage are not directly comparable.
Truncated text earns only checks already demonstrated in the visible excerpt; the unseen remainder is not marked wrong. Text rules measure structure, not factual accuracy, writing quality or every language equally.
Photo and banner grades cover image availability, decoding and shape only. Face framing, lighting, expression, visual style and authenticity require a human review. No appearance, identity or personality judgments are made.
An education entry is evidence of profile context, not verified credentials. School prestige, age, degree level and background do not affect the score.
Section weights: photo 15, cover 10, name 10, headline 15, About 20, experience 15, education 10, location 5. Passed checks earn their full weight; improvements earn zero; unknown checks are excluded.

Hook type uses the first nonempty line. CTA detection checks the final paragraph for a question or action phrase. Paragraphs use blank-line breaks. These rules can miss meaning and linked mentions.

Ordered from building a useful baseline to testing individual writing choices. Potential impact describes the purpose of an experiment, not a promised uplift.

Medium effort
OBSERVATION
The sample includes “If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your br”. Its visible interaction total is 78.
DO THIS
Build a follow-up to “If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your br”. Add a concrete example, a decision you made and one lesson. Keep the format similar so topic development is the main experiment.
Potential impact: Test repeatable interest in an existing subject
Metric to watch: Reactions and comments after the same seven-day window; compare with the baseline median
Median text length is 104 words with 4.5 paragraphs. 6 of 8 openings are classified as statements.
DO THIS
For the next post related to “If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your br”, open with a specific problem and a concrete outcome you can substantiate. Move context into the second paragraph. Avoid invented results or curiosity gaps that the post does not resolve.
Potential impact: Improve clarity; any engagement effect remains to be tested
Metric to watch: Median interactions across at least three comparable posts per opening approach
1 of 8 final content lines contain a detected question or action phrase; 1 posts contain a question anywhere. These are text rules, not semantic judgments.
DO THIS
End one upcoming post with a focused trade-off question connected to ai & building products. Ask readers to share a decision and why. Read replies before deciding whether the discussion was useful.
Potential impact: Test whether a clearer invitation supports useful discussion
Metric to watch: Public comments per post and manual review of reply relevance
8 dated posts span 8.7 days. Observed cadence is 5.7 posts per week.
DO THIS
Choose two slots per week for the four-week experiment below, or reduce the schedule if your capacity is lower. Keep the slots consistent and log every published post. Two slots are a planning choice, not a LinkedIn benchmark.
Potential impact: Create comparable records and a manageable learning loop
Metric to watch: Planned versus published posts, time spent, and median interactions at seven days
0 of 8 posts contain hashtags and 0 contain visible @mentions. LinkedIn may return linked mentions as plain text, so detection can undercount.
DO THIS
Use relevant topic labels only when they clarify the subject. Mention people only when they contributed or are directly relevant. Test a consistent tagging approach on comparable posts; do not attribute performance changes to tags alone.
Potential impact: Keep context and attribution useful
Metric to watch: Median interactions for tagged/untagged samples, with sample sizes and topic differences
Turn one idea related to “If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your br” into a concise checklist or document post. Keep a similar topic and ask the same type of question. Label this a new format experiment, not a proven winning format.
Potential impact: Learn whether a different presentation helps explain the same idea
Metric to watch: Public interactions at the same post age; at least three posts in each format before comparison

If you need to collect data and display the results quickly - all within your website, using your brand, URL, design and living on your server infrastructure, that’s what WordPress + IvyForms + wpDataTables combination works great for.
Our colleague Zorana shows how this combination works in the video tutorial 👇
wpDataTables major update! 🎉
✨8.0 is an AI-first release:
- REST API for accessing tables and data
- improved MCP support allowing AI assistants/clients to work with wpDataTables following the WP users/roles/capabilities system
- Added role- and user-based permissions for tables and charts
- Added Angie AI (Elementor AI agent) integration
- AI-powered SQL query generation and chart suggestions
- Webhooks for table data-related events
- Better IvyForms integration
- Numerous fixes and improvements
Because of the name, many still see wpDataTables as a developer-first tool for making tables.
I'd put it differently: it's a “data portal” for WordPress, and its job is to *remove the engineering work between your data and your visitors*.
If you have a large dataset on an external server (catalogs, historical records, financials, statistics, sensor readings), you connect it, describe in plain language what you want shown, and embed the result on a page.
Setup is easy like vibe coding, but within a plugin that's been in production for 14+ years.
Demo videos coming 📽️
🎉IvyForms free version reached its first thousand active installs in the WordPress plugin directory.
In the meantime, these features were added:
- AI-prompt for form generation
- Import from other form builders for easy migration
- Google Sheets integration
- Added File Upload field
- Applications & Careers Forms category with free job, internship, contractor, and rental application templates.
- Role and User-based permissions for controlling access to forms
- dozens of new form templates

It's a pleasure and an honor to be speaking at WordCamp Belgrade next week. My talk is about the transitions between the "Developer", "Manager", and "Founder/Entrepreneur" roles:
- What changes and what stays the same? Which habits help, and which slow you down?
- Which typical mistakes can you avoid? (I made them, so you don't have to.)
- Which skills and traits make you better in each role?
- What surprises you when you step into each role?
Special thanks to Jonathan Wold and Tammie Lister for suggesting this topic during our WPTavern podcast episode some time ago.
This time I'm doing it in Serbian, but I'm also looking into an English version and an online one.
Looking forward to meeting you there on September 18! Link to the event page in the first comment or here: WordCamp Belgrade..
App Store submissions keep doubling every year, and the top Google result now loses 58 of every 100 clicks it got in 2023.
That is the 2026 picture for self-serve software (apps, plugins, microsaas):
- Platforms and app stores are super-saturated because of vibe coding. Apple already hit a record year of submissions, WordPress-org gets about five times the plugin submissions it got in 2024. Breaking through as a new app with old methods like in-platform SEO is close to impossible.
- SEO is getting tougher. Ahrefs compared 300K keywords between December 2023 and December 2025 and found the top-ranking result keeps only 42 of its former 100 clicks when an AI Overview is present.
- The same shift, plus Google's algorithm updates, decimated the affiliate channel badly.
- AI mentions send far fewer sessions than SEO used to, but those sessions convert better.
- Paid clicks keep getting more expensive. The average Google CPC in benchmarks is now around $5.40. At 2% click-to-paid, that is roughly $270 in ad spend per paying customer before any other costs, so you need an LTV well above $400 to stay profitable. Small software rarely gets there.
- Cold outreach and similar sales channels aren't viable either. With the conversion rates cold channels get, every sale costs hundreds to thousands.
The game gets tougher, as it always does, but not impossible.
The basics stay the same, but we need to be more creative. Interestingly, channels that were "secondary" for years are becoming primary:
- Partnerships and bundled offers
- Owned channels and media (SM, newsletters, channels)
- Communities, as a variation of the same
- Reddit-like websites and forums, as a variation of the same
- Being creative and finding ways of showing up (online and offline) where your potential customers are, ideally before they even need you
- SEO/AEO still works - just not in the range of pre-2023 era and with different strategies
Also, I do think the vibe-coding hype will stabilize sooner or later. Not revert to the pre-AI era, but people will just get bored of growing the graveyard of zero-user products, and the market will self-adjust at some point.
I've developed "banner blindness" to most unedited AI-generated content
Most of the time I can immediately spot an AI-generated slide deck layout (we all know Claude's templates by now), picture, text, and once I do, my engagement drops. If the topic seems interesting, I have to force myself more than usual to dig in and check whether there's anything useful in there.
I've also started finding clearly non-AI content much more charming: short sentences without the "heroic drama", small typos and grammar mistakes, hand-drawn images, photo-based slide decks etc.
New models get slightly better at this, but still, if it's unedited and AI stays the author, it all becomes a part of the "same sea of sameness".
Guess it's not just me, so I keep using AI as a researcher - not as the writer.
With GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 within days, breakthrough releases now seem to come faster than I can properly test them and feel what actually changed. Or maybe it’s just the post-vacation period.
Exciting, nevertheless.
